Cultural Proficiency educates all students and ourselves to become effective in cross–cultural environments through knowing, valuing and using cultural backgrounds, languages and learning styles. We will experience the Museum of Tolerance (MOT) as a laboratory of human behavior exploring human and civil rights with special speakers and with an introduction to the four Tools of Cultural Proficiency. This free CA professional development opportunity grant for educators includes the MOT program, charter bus transportation, hotel accommodations (double occupancy), food and fellowship with colleagues.
