Hi Nanette,

I am providing a new link that will help our ADTA members with answers to their “Health Insurance” questions and the transition to AETNA on July 1, 2017. Please refer our members to this link because it contains a lot of useful information (including forms, fliers, phone numbers, plan summaries, etc.)

Our members should find this very useful and a great tool to use especially during our “Open Enrollment” period that begins next week. If you or anyone has any questions regarding this information, please do not hesitate to ask and I am most willing to assist!

A Message from Sharon Hamilton

You may have heard of the car accident on Air Expressway on Friday night when we lost a family of 4 from the AES Family.  We lost the mother, a 3 year old, and 2 of our  students; 1st  grader Omir Breda and 5th grader Missiya Breda.   Their 3rd grade sister, Niemah Breda,  is in critical condition at Loma Linda Hospital.

The family has started a Go Fund Me account to help the family with funeral and medical costs. We recently found out that Go Fund Me charges service fees and taxes the donations at approximately 16%. In response to this, we have begun collection donations here at Adelanto Elementary for the Breda Family and 100 % of the donations we collect will go directly into the hands of the family. A receipt will be given for every contribution.

It would be greatly appreciated if you would share this information with your staff. Every little bit will help this family.  I do know that she has an aunt flying in from Georgia as soon as I get information from her I will surely contact everyone with the funeral service dates.

I really want to thank you for your help and please keep this family in your thoughts and prayers. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Adelanto Elementary School Secretary

Intent to Return Information

Hello members,

Giving you the heads up on the new document that will be coming your way next week. Your office staff will be asking you to sign for the “The Intent to Return” document, revamped by our new chief Officer of HR, Andrea Credille.

Please sign and return it to the district by June 30th.  Should the district not receive it by June 30th, they will assume you are not intending to return.

I have enclosed a copy of what the document looks like. Please be on the look out for it next week.

Thank you,
ADTA Interim President
