The Adelanto District Teacher’s Association will be holding the Local NEA/RA Election at George Magnet School on March 8, from 2:30 pm – 5:00 pm. (This is a 1 year term)
February 1 5– February 19, 2016

­Declaration Of Candidacy
Each candidate filing a Declaration of Candidacy shall receive a copy of the election policy with their Acknowledgment Of Declaration of Candidacy.
February 22 – February 29, 2016 ­

Candidate’s Biography Sketch No more than 30 words
March 8, 2016 ­ NEA/RA Election
Election will be held at George Magnet School
On Tuesday, March 8, 2015 from 2:30 pm. until 5:00 pm. Ballots will be counted immediately after the election and the elected candidates will be notified within 24 hours by the Executive Board President.
March 12, 2016, A challenge to the election must be received, in writing, at 1141 Holly Street, Adelanto, CA, no later than, 5:00 pm. unless there is a run­off. (Postmarked dates are not accepted)
March 16 –Response to challenge
March 16 – March 18, 2016 – Preparation Of run­off ballots, if necessary. March 22, 2016 – Run­off election
Election will be held at George Magnet School, on Tuesday, March 22, 2016 from 2:30 pm. until 5:00 pm. (No write­in on ballots) Ballots will be counted immediately after the election and the elected candidates will be notified by the ADTA Executive Board President within 24 hours.
March 26, 2016 ­ Last day to submit a challenge to the run­off election. Must be received in writing at 11411 Holly Street, Adelanto, CA, 92301, no later than 5:00 pm, March 26, 2016. (Postmarked dates are not accepted)
