$500 Teacher Renewable Energy Grant from “Save on Energy dot com”

With solar and wind energy making such a strong showing in the High Desert these days, this could be a great way to raise awareness in our students. ADTA was offerred this opportunity to apply for teacher grants. Here’s the email with information:

“My name is Elizabeth Brown, and I’m the Communications Director for SaveOnEnergy.com. In an effort to educate students about energy and sustainability, I wanted to inform you that we recently posted a Teacher Grant opportunity that we’d love for NAME teachers to participate in.
This is a great opportunity for teachers to enter for a chance to receive a $500 grant and have their energy or sustainability focused lesson plans be recognized and featured on a nationally known energy marketplace.

To ensure visibility to Adelanto District educators, would you please post the information below to your blog? We would be happy to write up a release for ADTA specifically. Publicly posting the information lets us and others know that this grant is worthwhile so we can pursue offering more grants in the future.

Here is the URL you can list that provides the important grant information:

The deadline for the application is September 18, 2015, so I would appreciate it if you could post this as soon as possible so your teachers have the time to prepare their lesson plans.

Please let me know if you have any questions!”
